This center is a non-profit facility and a great for place for education, preservation and monitoring of one of the world's most active sea turtle nesting grounds. The center acts as a school, providing internships, tours and programs. Plus the park's amenities include a guarded beach, nature trails and picnic areas, but the main attractions are the leatherback sea turtles.

Wonderful Marine Science Series! Every Wednesday night in February.
My husband and I went on a Saturday and they were draining the tanks and weighing the turtles. It is facinating! The center is very educational for people if all ages.
Excellent place to learn about these wonderful creatures. The staff was very informative. My wife and I learned a lot. Recommend for any parents out there. Your kids will absolutely love it.
Great learning experience for kids and a great rescue community for turtles..

We made a quick round of the facility in about 20 minutes, only because we had to get going but the associates at the center were very gracious and knowledgeable about the turtles.
