This center is a non-profit facility and a great for place for education, preservation and monitoring of one of the world's most active sea turtle nesting grounds. The center acts as a school, providing internships, tours and programs. Plus the park's amenities include a guarded beach, nature trails and picnic areas, but the main attractions are the leatherback sea turtles.

The people who work here are so inspiring and full of respect and love for these magnificent creatures! Thank you all so much!! My son and I were there for Turtle Festival and bought souvenirs.
The volunteers were very nice and helpful. It was nice to see the rehabilitation of the turtles as well as information on their updated status. I would visit again if I am in the area.
