We love this place! My kindergarten class and I recently adopted Waffle and are eagerly watching his recovery process. We watch online and visit him in-person often. All of the staff we've met at the facility have been great, answering any questions we may have. We're pulling for you, Waffle! You're in great hands.
A five star facility. The turtles are looked after so well here. I happened to be there while the staff administrated medicine to a turtle in need. They were so gentle and loving towards the animals. Thank to the crew for all you do.
A great little educational experience for the kids. So great that something like this exists.
We spent a wonderful couple of hours at the centre, talking to the volunteers about the work done to rescue and rehabilitate these delightful creatures. It's fantastic to see the turtles up close and learn more about them and the ways that we can help to protect them and their environment. I highly recommend a visit.
Whenever I am in the area my top spot is the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. I just love the work they do and the beautiful turtles. My dream retirement volunteer job.
