Loved the space and thought it was beautiful. Food was ok, pricy for what you get and not much of a selection. Only issue was the girl behind the bar had the worst attitude. I mean rude, frowny face and bad body language like we were ruining her day. I will never understand that when they are making money and they are doing good business. I would definitely return but do wish the food selection was better and bar staff could be a little cooler.
We stumbled upon Loflin on accident as we headed out of town. Beautiful outdoor space unlike anything I had seen before. Bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, food service girl could use a bit more training. She was very confusing when we asked about the brisket po'boy, she said you weren't serving brisket cause that is for dinner and then we ordered one brisket and one shrimp po'boy. Got 2 brisket ones. �the brisket was delicious though!! Make sure you get the old fashioned, it is superb.
Wonderful place! Need a few more appetizer type items for munching on.
I love Loflin Yard! It's such a great little "get away" in nature inconspicuously nestled in urban development. It's a place for everyone- from first dates to families with kids & pets, and there is plenty of space to mingle or claim your own little camp as close to or as far away from smoking or kids games or the inevitably fun bands on the carriage house stage! The space is what makes this place special. Perfect for kids and dogs and the adults who love them. For $90 we got two respectable sazeracs, two champagne cocktails, two craft beers, and three sandwiches.
