This AAA Gem Attraction is a veritable journey through history, so much so that it was even featured on the History Channel. Starting in Lockport, passengers will sail through many worthy sights including the historical "Flight of Five", though the main attraction is when the vessel is actually raised 50 feet through Erie's only double set of locks. The ship passes beneath bridges and along the canal's cut-rock walls—accompanied by a narrated description of historical sites and Erie Canal folklore. Afterwards, you can ... read more

We had the most marvelous wedding on 9/1/2019 at Lockport Locks & Erie Canal Cruises! Beautiful canal side ceremony in their covered grove (thank goodness because it started to rain), and a cocktail hour Erie Canal Cruise. We had a blast, and while most of our guests stayed warm and dry on the bottom deck, we couldn't help but enjoy the beautiful view from the top! Afterwards, we had a lovely reception inside with a delicious selection of food.
We enjoyed the locks tour in August 2019. Very interesting learning firsthand how the locks are operated and boats are raised/lowered to navigate the canal. The boat had a concession stand and bathroom facilities on board. The crew was helpful and we had a good narrator explaining about the area and about the locks.
I've been wanting to do the Erie Canal Cruise for several years and finally got to do it this week. It was very enjoyable. Even the canal cruise music from the 1800's caused my feet to tap! Only recognized one of the songs. The building where you pick up tickers was beautiful and would be fun to have a banquet either inside or outside on the veranda.
We drove there from Niagara Falls and were so glad we did. The boat ride was great, really interesting going thru the locks .. it was just a very Relaxing ride on your boat and really informative learning all about the history of the canal & the town of Lockport. We definitely suggest this to everyone!!
It’s fantastic so interesting to see your having a fifty foot drop in water but don’t feel it
Awesome! Very informative Tour guide was Amazing! Thank you all!
Today we had a beautiful bridal shower for or daughter Ryan and her fiancé Sean Vara at Lockport Lock’s. The banquet room was beautiful, the food was great and the entire party ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend Lockport Locks for another gathering.
We went on a field trip here and I have to say the tour itself was wonderful.
We had a wonderful time in the cruise. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely recommend it to everyone! Cindy and David Burton
