Named after the barbecue capital of Texas, Lockhart's BBQ serves up what they call "Detroit-style" barbecue, pulling their favorite aspects of all the different great BBQ regions and combining them into one. My husband and I had a date night and decided to try a different restaurant. My ribs were dry and my husband brisket was rubbery. The atmosphere and service was great. We will not go again.

While we strive for consistency in the quality of our food, clearly we had a hiccup. Dry ribs and rubbery brisket our traits we don't associate with those products. I've been coming here for quite some time and I have yet to be disappointed. This place hits the nail on the head day in and day out. 100% quality every time, and this is something I can't say about any other restaurant I've been to. Although I live almost an hour away, I still make it a habit to take my wife to Lockhart's. Great service, great food, great atmosphere...what else do you want?! Thanks for the always awesome bbq Lockharts!
Sauces were a little generic. Nothing special about the meats. Hush puppies were fantastic. Lorraine salad was awful.
The food was great and our service was awesome. My husband and I will be back soon.
