I have been a resident here since May 2018 and lived in two units at this property. During this time we have seen a bit of change in management teams and office staff. However, Emily’s current team (including but not limited to: Jennifer, Shelby, Martin, and Alex) is wonderful. In my opinion, it feels as if they have really turned the property around to the fullest of their extent. Lockerbie Court is a great apartment in the Mass Ave. area. Emily made finding an apartment and moving in a breeze.
Love Lockerbie so much!!!! I am sad to be leaving Lockerbie court. These apartments are located in the best neighborhood and location in downtown Indianapolis. You are walking distance to grocery stores, shops, the circle, and so much more. I have lived in two different units here and loved both of them. This building is historic, so it might not have as many amenities compared to other apartments in the area, however I love the charm and lots of exposed brick. Management of this place is horrible. The deck is ready to collapse and they have boarded up people's back doors because they are worried about the deck falling if they step outside. They have not done anything to address this issue and it's been close to 5 months. If you have children, definitely don't live here. They will fall straight through the non-existent railings and splat on the concrete. Location is nice.
The management company is atrocious here. I had two different apartment leaks in my time staying here. One of them happened in November of 2021. At the time of my move out in August 2022 all the repairs had not been completed. The second water leak happened, and I filed 3 separate emergency maintenance reports before someone finally came out to my apartment to see what the problem was and fix it.
