DO NOT LIVE HERE. The staff is HORRIBLE - they blatantly lie about the applications, do NOT take care of the property, and charge crazy fees for random items just pulled out of thin air. This has been the worst living experience I've ever had. I can't believe they are still in business today. The office manager has NO idea how to do her job: she is rude, disrespectful, unorganized, and definitely the worst person I've ever had to do business with. DON'T RENT AT LOCKEFIELD APARTMENTS!!!! – Spent my senior year at IUPUI renting at Lockefield Apartments in Indianapolis. I followed all the rules. I paid on time each month! When I moved out they STOLE MY DEPOSIT AND ACTUALLY TOLD ME I OWE THEM MONEY!!! I took very good care of my apartment and cleaned it to better than when I moved in. They have charged me for made up things... including a crack in a refrigerator shelf... the refrigerator must be 25 years old! You probably shouldn't sign a lease here. – I lived here a few years back and hated it. Don't sign a lease here--it is overpriced without all the amenities you would expect from a complex that charges so much and is in a downtown location. What did I experience while I was living here? Bad service at the office, Loud parties, car break-ins, police helicopters shining a light down into the courtyard waking me up (looking for someone basically in my front yard... nice...)
