Got a dozen Stump Sound oysters and some black bass filets at the Chapel Hill farmers market from Locals Seafood this am. The oysters were amazing, maybe the best I've ever eaten. The black bass filets were small, pricey but delicious. Will definitely do this again!
We bought a peck of stump sound oysters last weekend and they were amazing!!! We had them raw, baked and steamed- raw was definitely our favorite on this- so so good!

I have never received anything but the freshest of fish from these folks at chapel Hill Farmer's Mkt. What is the most enjoyable is being able to try varieties of fish that don't keep well and don't usually make it to market. Great product sold by friendly knowledgeable folks. One bit of advice for walk-up customers is to get there early for the best choice. That said there is always something good available.
