We had our dinner following our wedding at Local in their private room. What an amazing night. Laken made sure everything was perfect. Chris our server was terrific as well. Food was beyond amazing. We had visited Jackson before but did not time there so we took a chance by having our wedding dinner there, but we were more than pleased! Thanks to all the staff for an amazing night!
The food was good. The drinks service could have been better. I ordered a 3 beer sampler with one of the beers being a seasonal with the exact beer info listed on the menu. When it was brought out I was only given the menu info as to which was which. I had to get into view of the beer taps and figure out for myself which one the seasonal was. The Korean lettuce wrap I had to eat tasted good but there were not enough lettuce leave to accommodate the fillings on the plate.
Best way to end our honeymoon!! We decided to dress up---way outside the normal tourist garb---and make a 5 star dinner date happen. Local didn't disappoint!! The food was amazing. Perfect, flavorful sears on the steaks and tasty sides. A delicious dessert and my husband was ecstatic to find Rip Van Winkle whiskey on the drink menu. We left stuffed with all the trimmings of a gourmet meal rivaling any big city. Thank you!!
Definitely worth making a stop here! Great atmosphere and great food!
