RecommendedThe bartender/waiter was very friendly and gave good recommendations. First time trying pimento cheese and it was surprisingly good. Spicy, but I’m a wimp. The fries are wonderful. The Green Tomato BLT was very good but my husbands Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was outstanding. The amaretto sours were good and strong but very well mixed. Wish I had not been so full bc the desserts sounded wonderful. Maybe next time will just have desserts and drinks.

RecommendedWe were there for their Valentine Dinner. It was a 5-course meal that was fabulous! The greeters were friendly and our waitress, Victoria M was outgoing, helpful and attentive. We could not have asked for a better evening. We eat here once or twice a month and I would highly recommend some of the items on the Valentines menu be put on the regular menu. The tomato bisque, salmon, lamb chops and chocolate cherry cheesecake were fabulous! We will see you next Valentine’s Day!
RecommendedWe have eaten at The Local Republic several times, the atmosphere is wonderful, cozy relaxed....we love the pimento cheese appetizer, service always great, servers very friendly, love their burgers, a taste like no other, we actually crave them! We will be back soon!
The first time we visited (on a Friday night during the holidays) service was suspect but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We gave it another shot mid day (3:30) on a Saturday afternoon and service was terrible! We sat at our table for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged (place was only half full). In general- and this is just personal preference - I don’t care for the menu.
