About this business

Lobster Shack affords views of both Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean. Picnic tables and benches are set up on the rugged coast where you are soaked in the virginal beauty of the seaside, while watching ships sail the tempestuous ocean. The interiors are done up in simple wooden accents and decorated with nautical artifacts. If dining in a group, order one of the boats like Clam Cake Boat or Crab Roll Boat, which is simply seafood served in paper boats. Desserts like Blueberry Mini Pies, Raspberry Pastries and... read more

Truly an amazing experience. No trip to Maine would be complete without a trip here.

Wow. I have never had anything but great food here but tonight was a complete fail. My fried shrimp boat was cold and the shrimp were miniscule, like the kind you get out of a can, and you could only taste the overcooked breading. My companion's fried scallops arrived in a puddle of grease. It wasn't busy when we ordered but by the time we got our food (ages after the numbers around us had been called) it was so mobbed that we didn't try to get it fixed because we expected another long wait. Something went seriously wrong to... read more

The location can't be beat, but the lobster roll is pathetic. Two pieces of meat and a big glob of mayo on a soggy hot dog roll with lettuce. There may have been more lettuce than lobster in the roll! I ordered it twice, thinking the first time was a random mistake. I got the same exact thing the second time around. I live in the area and can find better and cheaper lobster rolls all around. Are you trying to take advantage of the tourists?? Very disappointing.

Location location location! Lovely lobster roll, eaten with the sun shining and waves rolling in ... can’t beat it! Some patience required to get a parking spot and line up to get order taken .. but so worth it!

Food is average, and expensive (lunch for 4 was $100), esp compared to other Lobster Shacks in Maine. The view and setting are top notch though. Get there at off peak hours because parking is a CF and very limited. That view though...

Food, ambience & view were awesome! Parking sucked. People were literally arguing over spaces.
