About this business

Lobster Shack affords views of both Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean. Picnic tables and benches are set up on the rugged coast where you are soaked in the virginal beauty of the seaside, while watching ships sail the tempestuous ocean. The interiors are done up in simple wooden accents and decorated with nautical artifacts. If dining in a group, order one of the boats like Clam Cake Boat or Crab Roll Boat, which is simply seafood served in paper boats. Desserts like Blueberry Mini Pies, Raspberry Pastries and... read more

We loved the food and the view but it was surprising and disappointing that there weren't a few "kids menu" options on the menu, especially in an area so saturated with young families. For two adults and a 2-year-old who barely ate half of her meal, it was almost $60. Seems like it'd be a pretty easy fix to add a couple of reasonably priced kid items to the menu - just a thought.

Fabulous blueberry dessert. Whoopie pie. Onion rings. Lobster. Great Cole slaw. Those stupid biscuits should not be that great! We love this place. From CA to Cape Elizabeth, just to enjoy this place. The view. The food. The people.

Very disappointing... Been coming for years, since I was a child. Brought my family out today for lunch, $75!! That was for a piece of haddock the size of my hand, 19.99, A scallop plate with 7 scallops, 21.99, and a LG side of shrimp 22.99, about 1/2 LB. I did also get to Dixie cups of coleslaw and some frozen crinkle cut fries with the dinners too, lmao. Very overpriced, has definitely turned into a tourist trap. This explains why you were so slow today. I hope you really read this and think of your customers. Good luck, b... read more

Love the food and the views. It is the first place we bring guests visiting Maine.

The food was great, although pricey (lunch for 2-$45). It was very busy. We got lucky and was able to eat inside. View was beautiful. Definitely would go again. Worth the trip!
