Lobel Financial is a horrid company. Their customer service is so rude, they place you on hold without telling you, they are short with you. I lost my job, and made a payment arrangement with them. The girl I spoke with took my payment arrangement and told me that that was fine, they confirmed my address, and then later that night they came and repossessed the car. I would say if you can help it to never do business with this company!!!!
My husband took my car without my ok, it is in my name only but good old community property laws allowed him to just keep the car, I asked for help, was told to bad you are responsible, now I have to do a volunteer repo rather than just letting him take the payments over.
Wow I just came across this thread and all of you guys are freaking me out!!! Every one of the posts on this site are true. Lobel Financial Corp is the most dishonest, rude bunch on snot nosed kids. I have been hasseled with the insurance scam, even though ive had insurance with the same carrier for years. My truck is being repoed because my payment is 13 days over due, and because I will NOT pay them the extra $98 dollars that Lobel says that I owe them for the last 6 months. I AM BEGGING YOU, DO NOT FINANCE WITH THIS COMPANY!! You will regret it. They will tell you that you don't have insurance when you do, then charge you an extra 60 dollars a month for it. I've faxed my proof of insurance 8 times now, yet they claim they don't receive it and continue to charge me, or threaten to repossess my vehicle. They process payments out of the wrong account. VERY unprofessional! RUN AWAY!
This is the worse company I have ever had to deal with. My car was repossessed because I was told I didn't have auto insurance. Which is not true, I have never let my insurance lapse and once I confronted them with that I was told i was late on my payments, once again I never missed a payment. IF YOU ARE OFFERED A LOAN THROUGH LOBEL FINANCIAL DO NOT ACCEPT, PLEASE I AM TELLING ANYONE WHO READS THIS COMMENT. Worse Customer Service EVER!!!! – This is the WORSE company I have ever dealt with. I was forced in to buying a car through Lobel after a situation with a Ford Dealership in Denver, CO. Lobel has been nothing but an absolute terror. First off, they call constantly, even if you are a day late, plus they harass your references constantly too. Once you finally get the car paid off, if you dont pay by Western Union or MoneyGram, then make sure you tack on an extra 20 or so bucks, since they compound interest daily.
