Found Liz's via Yelp while heading home from Nashville. Both my girlfriend and I had the Meat + 3. Fried chicken, turnip greens, cole slaw, broccoli salad, cornbread, white beans with pork, deviled eggs, banana pudding, sweet tea and more! The fried chicken had a thick but light and airy breading, the turnip greens were perfect. Everything was fantastic! Atmosphere is very laid back and family friendly. Highly recommended!!

RecommendedWe were on our way home to Louisville from Nashville and stopped for lunch. We were so glad we did. The food was amazing and the people and service were wonderful. You just don't find places like this much anymore. Can't wait till the next time we are going south so we can stop back in for some good home country cooking. Thank you all.
The best breakfast around. Waitress are wonderful.
My wife and her friend work in this area and have eaten here before, after seeing them on tv. I finally got to join them & it was well worth the hour drive. The catfish is seasoned good and NOT over breaded. Can't wait to come back.

I eat at Liz's two or three times a week. Everybody is so friendly and treat you like family. Catfish is great on Fridays but everything is good all the time.

I remember as a kid coming to eat here! And now as a teenager here I am still going! I love going after school woth friends down here and no matter if we all have to car pull it's worth it for those hamburgers! I know I have posted the heck out of your Facebook but I just love love LOVE this place!! Can't wait to take my kids here some day! Also, I'm so sorry for your loss!!

I was in the third grade when she cooked for Goodlettsville cafe I'm now 42. I remember me and my friends walking there for fries and burgers as well...it's amazing how God has now put my Mother in the position that she has. God Bless you and your family! Happy Holidays!
The food here was the best home cooked meal! It tastes just as good as mom and nannies cooking. The people here are so friendly and the price was amazing! Liz's Kitchen we definitely being see us again soon. :)
