My review would have been a 5+ based off of the service I received at the Millbrae location. I went to the Millbrae location on oct.10th 2020 and spent over $7000 to furnish a new home for my housing company, my name is Don. My delivery date was told to me it will be XX-XX-XXXX Xam-3pm do to the fact that I purchased a sidebar that need to be sent to Fremont So that all my items will arrive at the same time. I have been waiting patiently for 9 weeks now for a sofa I ordered and I was told by the sales person 4-6 weeks. On top of this the sales person screwed up my order and was fixed until a week later... I haven't received any follow up calls or letting me know there is a delay. I have called multiple times and waited on hold for countless hours. I was told they will be scheduling a delivery this past week and still nothing. Horrible! Customer service at store may be fine, but once you've ordered, BEWARE! Estimated delivery time will triple (at least) and delivery itself is careless. WHEN you find out something is wrong (broken leg on couch and stain on cushion, missing two pillows) there is NO customer service. Sure, they seem anxious to help, but nothing gets done. 3 months later, still no pillows, no new leg for couch and forget about buying that advertised additional warranty on fabric. I ordered a living room couch and It was scheduled to be delivered to me in 4 weeks. on the scheduled date, nothing was delivered so I called customer service and they said my order is delayed and will be rescheduled for another date. on the other date I received another notice that my order is getting delayed again. DO NOT do business with Living Spaces. I loved the service I got in store, but they deliver FALSE ADVERTISING. I was told my mattress had a sleep trial, on line says my mattress is a sleep trial, and I am trying like heck to return this over priced uncomfortable mattress. We were told we can return it after 30 days if it does not work for us. Now that I have slept on it for 30 days I am in pain and sleeping terribly. I ordered a custom couch, waited the full 8 weeks and scheduled the delivery. My couch was not on the truck, but documented that I 'refused' delivery. They then admitted to losing the couch. The only recourse was to cancel so I could reorder and wait another 8 full weeks. Come to find out the couch is now out of stock. They canceled my order after the full 8 weeks without my knowledge. My initial purchase and delivery went great. They put it together quickly and unpacked and removed all materials, super friendly deliverymen. However only a couple months after my purchase there is significant wear and scuffing showing on one of the seats. I am knocking stars off because the Living Spaces warranty department/customer service AFTER you purchase is terrible. I have bought a lot of furniture from Living Spaces, but this last special order of an expensive, high end down pillow sectional has been a nightmare. The fabric has balled up and piled. I have gone to the store several times and they gave me a phone number of Customer Service which I have called 9 times and left messages to call me back with no luck. Keep your coupon, we will never shop at living spaces again. Undoubtedly the worst shopping experience we've ever had, especially after spending thousands of dollars.
