I purchased a custom sofa from Living Spaces. I measured my living room prior to purchase. The sofa I purchased was a sectional in 3 sections. As soon as the delivery guy walked into my townhome and saw my stairs he immediately said "Its not going to fit". He even mentioned he's been doing deliveries for over 10 years and he knew it would not fit just by looking at the stairs. Absolutely horrible. Terrible customer service. Was confirmed delivery and told I had to be home so I took the day off and they were a no show. They rescheduled for two days later against no show. Rescheduled third time - fighting with them to cancel and get a refund to no avail. Two missed days of work for this garbage company. Buyers beware ! Shop somewhere else!!!

My experience with this company has been a nightmare. I received the Utopian chair in October of 2021. I was traveling until the Spring of 2022 and noticed I would get a rash upon sitting on the chair. I also noticed the chair had a yellow discoloration all over the chair. I filed a return claim with pictures of my rash and the fabric discoloration and got denied immediately. I purchased a rug in April. It arrived? My husband and I rolled it out, and we noticed there was an area that didn't lie flat. We thought that the rug needed time to settle though. A few weeks later the rug was still not flat. It was evident that this was a defect. I called customer service. They informed me that it was past the return period. We purchased a kitchen table with 3 chairs and a bench at Living Spaces Vista, CA location. The new sale process was great and the associate convinced us to buy the warranty. She said if anything were to break the warranty protects us in that they'd come out and fix it. Well they did not honor their warranty in fact when we reached out they said we needed photos - so we sent them great photos from all anglesinstead of them agreeing to apply their warranty they just asked for more photos. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! Don't ever order anything from this store. I ordered the uptopia couch sales lady told me I would receive it in July... mind you I ordered this in June... never received any email or any update on my order. I call and now it was delayed until august... now August is here and I have not heard from living spaces not even an email. I purchased a sleeper sofa from Living Spaces. I measured out according to their policies for delivery to ensure it would fit. When the delivery people showed up they immediately said it wouldn't fit and refused to even bring it indoors even though it was measured. I had to convince them to put it inside and measure for themselves. Living Spaces- Floresta Blvd San Leandro ca-I bought a couch called the Stetson with electric recliner as well as side bar with lumbar and headrest. I was told that was a brand-new style that they just received within a month there was a problem. They kept ignoring me I had to get the general managers name from LinkedIn to get any help and that was of July 2020. I purchased a bed from living spaces with a warranty that was moldy and improperly assembled when I finally received it. When I claimed against my warranty I was told "we no longer have this item and it cannot be repaired under warranty". I was told to pick a new bed and it was also assembled improperly, the legs of every bed I purchased were stripped and collapsed within a month of purchase.
