RecommendedI’ve been with Dr. Luce for many years now. I have worked as a vet technician for other vets in this town and Dr. Luce is the only one that I’ve ever met that shows true compassion and understanding. Not only for the animal but for the firmamas. I would never go anywhere else because I trust not only Dr. Luce but his entire staff. There is a level of excellence that cannot be met anywhere else!!
From the helpful and friendly staff of Marcia and Rachel to the kind vet techs Daniel and Ashely to the very knowledgeable and compassionate Dr Luce, Live Oak Vet Clinic is outstanding. I transferred the care of my 5 cats and 2 dogs to their practice. I heartily recommend them.
The most Compassionate care. We have followed Dr. Luce during the course of his career. Our Animals are considered Family by Us and they are treated as such by Dr. Luce and his Staff.

We’ve been bringing our old Jack Russel to Dr. Luce for a few years now and he has helped us get through intensive post surgery care and taught us how to catheterize Roscoe at home so we could care for him ourselves. They’re always willing to take him as a drop off patient which we’ve had to do multiple times due to his health. But we’ve kept our old man alive and well thanks to the help of this vet and hospital. We’re so grateful and would recommend Live Oak Vet and Dr. Luce to anyone.

Dr Luce is such a kind person. He truly cares about his clients; two and four legged! 😊 All his staff are super friendly and treat us like family. I followed Dr live to live oak vet from TH vet. He is very honest and makes sure you always understand the issues and treatment. He takes time to personally call you after a surgery or test results. I also board my dogs there when I go on vacation and they take such good care of them. #no1vet!!
We had to put our beloved kitty down last week. They took us into a special room with a couch and ottoman. They were very good about the whole thing and were being very sensitive to our needs. Today we received a condolences card signed by the ENTIRE clinic. I was SO touched. Thank you SO much for taking care of my cats through all their phases. We are lucky to have found a vet like you here in Sonora.
