The sprawling feel of the joint is refreshing. I love the fajita tacos with a shiner! As A Texan, I can attest, you must dine here!

Honestly it should just be a bar or because half the food on the menu they don't have and when your food comes out it's not even cooked how do you screw a baked potato & the service/ management is worse than anything I've ever encountered in my life.
Went for dinner Monday night. Haven't been in a long time. Food was horrible. Won't go back.
It was worth the move to Texas just to discover Live Oak in the backyard. Great food, drink, service, atmosphere, prices, value, experience! I will be back soon and often.
The crawfish was overcooked and tasted as though they had not been purged at all. The fact that we had to pay for corn, mushrooms, and sausage was ridiculous. On top of the poor quality of the food, the server failed to properly close our tabs and ran one card for two payments, then the MANAGER of the restaurant found one of my friends on FACEBOOK and told her to call to make a payment over the phone for the tab. If there was an option for a -5stars I would use it. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at any establisment. Management and owners arguing with a customer over an improperly cooked meal, is unprofessional and ridiculous. How do you stay in business?? Learn how to treat your customers and properly cook your food... NEVER WILL I EVER patronize this place again.
Worst service, management, owner ever! You don't argue ever with the customer! I'm sorry but a medium rare steak still has pink in the middle and not cooked ALL THE WAY thru! Plus it shouldn't take 1 hour just to order and get a drink! Will never return! A manager should never raise his voice and get ugly with a customer!
The General Manager is a total ass! He was so rude and unprofessional. He thinks because he's the GM he's a big deal. He is the only reason I would NEVER go back! You don't treat your customers like that anywhere!
