The caciocavallo is the secret to my lasagna. Everyone always says it is the best they've ever had! Funny to see it and a few others at Stew Leonards the other day being sampled... they couldn't get the samples out fast enough! People really gobbled them up :)
Best Italian market in the New Haven area! Fresh cheeses, deli, meat, pasta etc. If you haven't already shopped there you are missing out on a fantastic market. Everything Italian you could ask for! Their ready made meals are amazing too! Highly recommend!!
I had the pleasure of visiting Liuzzi's in August, 2016; it was like making a trip to Italy - Magnifico !!!
If you have not been, you are missing out. My go to place for anything Italian.
My sub was just okay. Maybe the choice I made picking one out. Wanted a good Italian sub and as I said was just okay. Cold cuts were not fresh to me. Had Mortadella and cheese. Only ate a few bites and it went bye bye. Disappointed coming from an Italian Market back East.
