This review is for feeding therapy. My 12 month old daughter was having a super hard time starting solids (anything that wasn’t pureed, basically). Anytime I would give her the smallest bite she would vomit. I was super discouraged and came across Kyarra on yelp. Kyarra was easy to schedule with, super knowledgeable and came to my house to do feeding sessions. Kyarra has been such a joy to work with, not just because my little one is learning so much, but also because she makes the experience fun. My son looks forward to his time with her each week and does not feel discouraged or tasked by putting in the work. Kyarra is a smart, kind, effective speech therapist. She worked with my son as a 4 year old on some enunciation/articulation of several letters. My son loved the sessions, was always ready to work with Kyarra. His progress was noticeable and his confidence grew. Kyarra was a life saver during the days of Covid. She was flexible enough to work with our then 7 year old. Distance learning really took a toll on Ben’s reading and certain pronunciations and sounds were lacking. With Kyarra’s help, Ben was able to overcome this hurdle and now reads proficiently above his grade level. Not only is Kyarra knowledgeable and professional, but she has the patience and flexibility to work through any situations that may arise. I highly recommend Kyarra.
