Too bad there is not a choice for minus stars. Admissions, ER, and Bed nurse are a joke. Very rude. No one should have to call back after transferred all over and then get hung up on by the bed nurse, just to find out if a person is admitted. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this facility to anyone. All ignorant and appear like they are serving jail time instead of doing their job. Hope you don't need compassion or common courtesy one day.
My son & I have been sitting here in this hospital for 4 hours, my son is having very sharp pains in his sides & his lower back to the point that he's is having trouble standing up long. I ask the the lady how much longer is his wait time, she said 6 hour is their best in this hospital, really even the elders are sitting here far to long, now I have to take my son to another hospital for service. Never again, who wants to see their child suffer like this. It is now 4:14 pm got here at 11:30 am.
The ER here is the WORST EVER! Staff is super unfriendly... I went today to get a breathing treatment for asthma and the front desk person put a pulse ox on my finger AT THE DESK, no privacy... and said “your oxygen level is at 97%, you’re ok... have a seat in the waiting room!” I left, came to Rush ER and was IMMEDIATELY checked in! On my second treatment and may have to be admitted! Never again... I wouldn’t let them treat my dog or worst enemy there! And yes, I called and left my name and number with Mary Ellen!
Worked there five years and I loved it. I was a c n a. Three years floating and two years in the stroke unit. Great place to work.
