We offer breakfast and lunch service seven days a week with Brunch all day on Sunday. We have delicious soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch. Sources for food include local farms which provide fresh vegetables and meat. We also have Blue Plate specials during the week which include fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken pot-pie, fried pork chop and rainbow trout along with fresh vegetable sides. Our food is made to order and served hot, fresh and quick.

Friendly place, welcoming to all. The vegetable sauté is delicious! The chocolate stars are so rich and yummy, too.
Love LCD! Always good! Yesterday's poached egg special was perfect. We came down for it after seeing the photo and it was awesome! Keep the photos coming! Always a good meal here, and the young lady who works at the counter is a gem! Great service!!
Great little restaurant in a really cool little town!
Chef refused to scramble an egg that usually comes fried because “they were about to get busy”... Really? Does it really take significantly longer for you to scramble an egg? There were two people in line. Silly response. Poor experience.
So incredibly happy that I moved to Athens from New Jersey to find this amazing little gem!!! Always have a yummy meal whenever I visit, and enjoy the vegan options...so healthy and delish!! Love the super friendly folks who always do their best to transform almost any meal into a vegan one!!

We have been coming here for 2 years almost every Saturday morning. They suddenly changed to brunch on Saturday morning. No sides so you can’t order eggs with sausage or bacon. Will not be back on saturdays. Very disappointed.. love this place. Food is awesome.
Nice enjoyable good food for lunch with fine air conditioning and ambiance.
