I was extremely happy with my visit with Dr. Lisa Zaleski-Larsen today. She was kind, professional, thorough and very knowledgeable. I am pleased with the service I received and highly recommend her as a competent dermatological physician.
As a retired medical professional at the Doctoral level I am so disheartened and disappointed to have witnessed the decline of a once good doctor. I've been impatient for several years and now I concur with all of the negative reviews here and on Yelp. She has become rude, inconsiderate, rushed, and prone to mistakes. I will not be returning to see her and I caution others.
I made the mistake of not checking the reviews of this place before scheduling an appointment with Dr. Lisa. I wish I did. She was in a rush, she didn't review my history, she barely look at my skin, she only did so because I asked her. She didn't even make a proper evaluation. I waited for months for the appointment, and I was out of her office in less than 10 min. Very disappointed . The only positive is the staff, they are nice.
I came in seeking help for severe acne that I’ve struggled with for seven years. I was hoping for a thoughtful, personalized approach. Unfortunately, Dr. Lisa Zaleski-Larson immediately dismissed my concerns, disregarded my medical history (depression and IBS), and spoke to me in a condescending manner. She showed no bedside manner and no interest in actually helping me. Instead, she pushed oral antibiotics (which I had an allergic reaction to) and birth control. I'm a retired medical professional with a doctorate in a different area, and do the multiple episodes of skin cancers, have been a patient of this doctor for several years .....and I have watched her decline into incompetence, abruptness and rudeness. I echo and agree with the other negative reviews and so I will not repeat those complaints here, suffice to say I am no longer her patient, and my visits with it this year have been totally unsatisfactory
