Dr. McGuire is the most down to earth and practical physician I know. She is thorough and knowledgeable while also finding a way to be empathetic and approachable. There are very few practitioners who can strike this balance.
Dr. McGuire and her medical staff make a visit with my special needs child as comfortable as possible. She is gentle, patient and understanding of his apprehensions. She gives him expert care and is eager to answer our questions and concerns. We are grateful for her help and compassion.
She has been our daughter’s neurologist since she was a toddler(now 18). She has fantastic people skills and is always open to try new things to help us with our needs. She is a great listener. Always has the patience best interests. Her staff is amazing!!! I give them five stars as well! They all go above and beyond with the insurance and pharmaceutical companies with all the hoops. We love her and always feel like we leave with all our questions answered!
She has people skills, but I had a hard time getting behind the logic she was using to give advice for seizure prevention and detection. for instance, if your kid has potentially lethal seizures at night, don't bother trying to detect it because the devices that are on the market aren't 100% accurate.

My kids have seen Dr. McGuire for years, and she is one of the most caring doctors they have seen. Our kids have a very complex combination of challenges, and she has always made sure take each of their diagnosis in mind when addressing their care. She listens carefully to my concerns and suggestions, and she always answers my questions thoroughly. In addition, the people who work with her are all very friendly and competent. In the last 15 years, I haven't had a negative experience.

Great Dr. I highly recommend.
Dr.McGuire is extremely knowledgeable in her field. Dr.McGuire takes the time to listen to her patient’s concerns and never makes them feel rushed when answering questions and giving explanations. We are so fortunate for the care she’s given our daughter.
