Horrible communication and bedside manner. Missed a major issue on me because she would not listen. Do not go to her if you can help it. My opinion.
Outstanding surgeon. Prompt diagnosis and scheduling of surgery. Excellent communication skills. Her truthfulness builds patient's trust and confidence.

Several years ago,my wife went to see Dr. Bland as a result of extreme pain in her bladder. Dr. Bland told my wife that she was "A great diagnostician". My wife told after a few tests there was nothing ailing her. My wife went to another Urologist and was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis with the worst case her new Dr. had seen in years. This was after Dr. Bland told her she didn't have it and wouldn't test her for it because she was such a great diagnostician. Too arrogant to test.
I saw her for treatment / surgery of prostate cancer. She was thorough, informative, personable, professional, and meticulous. Sensitive to my needs.
I believe Dr. Bland is one of the best doctors that I have ever been to. She listened to me, answered my questions, and truly cared for me. I traveled a long way to see her and I was not disappointed. Being a 64 year old male, I was hesitant to choose a female urologist. I am glad that I choose her and I would highly recommend her.
Has a surgery and no problems healed up and no return for that surgery Done right the first time.
