Dr. Handler froze a couple discolorations on my scalp and charged me $500. Every time I had gone to Strimmling before, I paid a $30 copay for the what is commonly referred to as cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen. Why the change? I'm so disappointed. I asked him to look at the lesions I had on my ankles. His response was, rather than offering me help, was that he couldn't do anything for me. I'll never go back again.
Saw him on Tuesday April 2 and they were too busy to collect my $35 co pay and told me they would bill me. Received a call today that if I do not pay his co pay right now over the phone that he will no longer see me. The Dr. is subpar at best and to have your staff call me and threaten me is uncalled for. I’ve never not paid them.
My wife and I are long time patients of Dr. Handler. He is a excellent doctor, both in his skills and personal interactions. Excellent office staff as well.
My entire, extended family has been to Dr. Handler. He is patient, thorough, informative; would never, ever consider another dermatologist.
My wife and I have been going to Dr. Handler for more than ten years for regular dermatology checkups and some minor skin surgeries. His manner is always friendly but business-like, and all the work he has done has been excellent. In 2013 my wife was misdiagnosed with a sebaceous cyst by another doctor; Dr. Handler correctly discerned that it was not a cyst, referred her to a specialist for what turned out to be Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Dr. Handler is a great physician. I trust his decisions. He’s quick, but thorough. I appreciate both.
Went for a skin check. I've had two bouts of skin cancer and do a lot of research on my own. Every picture I see of a dermatologist doing a skin check shows the doctor using a magnifying glass. I also know that a complete skin check should include checking the patient's scalp. Neither of these happened with Dr. Handler. My scalp wasn't checked until I asked him to do it. He is not the only dermatologist I've seen in Vegas, and have not been satisfied with any of them. I'll keep trying.
Excellent Doctor, he provided solutions for issues other skin doctors could not address. I highly recommend him and his staff are exceptional.
