Had an awsome early dinner and drinks. The blackened gator tail appetizer were very tender. The gumbo had a nice flavor with just enough heat. We will be camping next time we come for a visit just wanted to scope the place out first. Enjoyed the music from Leid back on the back porch.
service sucks. staff is not helpful. we have walked out twice since new ownership. sad. because the drive is not close for us. So we don't think we will chance it a second time. and the place was not busy either time

The new renovations were very nice. We started with an appetizer and a kids meal and both were very good. Wife had a pulled pork dinner that was good. Bad news.....I was served spoiled seared scallops that should have been thrown away days ago. they were rancid. No one from the management team came over but the waiter apologized. He brought some shrimp over and charged me for a new meal. I may try again but will not order seafood.
We are new to bradenton and enjoy coming here for the great food, (not the rosd kill thou) quietness and fun..wonderful staff and sometime very busy....especially the gumbo. Man, it is so good....right on river, very relaxing...
Good food, reasonably priced, a hidden gem
the good food all the stuffed animals my grandchildren love them pretty cool place always has been for many many years
