I cant say enough about this fine gentlleman, in other words he saved my life. I had to have an emergency bowel surgery, he left his office and practice to meet me at the hospital by the time transport ambulance took me to Rex Hospital.He came out and explained the problem in detail to my husband and what was needed to be done The next night i developed a new problem and he got up out of bed just to come to the hospital to check on me.Him and his PAs always were at my room to make sure all my questions were always answered t... read more
Dr. Sharpe has been great so far, I have yet to have the procedure. However, his staff at the Rex Bariatrics office are rude, impatient, and largely unhelpful. If I didn't have a personal recommendation to go to him, I would have never went because of the front staff. They act as if they are herding cattle. You have to wait for them and when they are ready then you may speak ...never mind that you are the "customer" so to speak. He is amazing! He is very professional and unlike most he is very personal. He gotten to know me as a person, for example he recalls were I work & things I enjoy the most. I don't just feel like a number with him. I'm thankful that his my surgeon.
