Dr Ackerman is a blessing to us. Knowledgeable, thorough and right on top of things. But also loving and kind, and shows sincere personal interest in us. A great doctor!
Dr. Ackerman always takes the time to explain options and help me select the right option. She has been one of my doctors for the last 10 years and hopefully will be my doctor for the next ten years or more.
Dr. Ackerman is truly a dedicated physician and an incredible human being who focuses on excellence in patient care. She never rushes through her time with me, is personable while being a good listener and providing clarity to any concerns. I’d have to say that Dr. Ackerman possesses the great qualities for being a great doctor! She is always upbeat and shows her genuine concern for your overall health and wellbeing. I have been her patient for a very long time for my plaque psoriasis. After trying several medications, we finally found the one that has cleared up all my plaque psoriasis. Dr. Ackerman is exceptionally knowledgeable! Very kind and caring and always answers questions and takes as much time as needed. The best doctor I have!
Dr. Ackerman is terrific. She is a 'medical dermatologist,' so she handles the more difficult, unusual problems, while still taking care of the normal ones. She is involved in important clinical trials, and regularly mentors med school students who shadow her. And she is friendly and welcoming, and her staff reflects her attitude and approach. Could not recommend her more highly.
