I chose this doctor because the reviews indicated she is knowledgeable and a good doctor but what benefits can a good doctor provide if she hasn’t accepted new patients in the past 3 years? I called to schedule a new patient appt in 2018 because the insurance I had at the time had her listed as accepting new patients. When the receptionist finally answered she said no this doctor is not accepting new patients. This year 2019 I have a different insurance (Blue Cross/Blue shield). Most knowledgeable and thorough doctor I've ever had. She spends a lot of time with each patient, so sometimes you have a wait to see her, but in my opinion it's very well worth it because she doesn't miss a thing. So many doctors are pushing you out the door as soon as you walk in and making you feel like you're bothering them when you are describing your symptoms...she is not one of them. Absolutely the best doctor I ever had! Dr. Maynard helped me get my thyroid problem under control for the first time in my life. She is a sincere, kind, considerate and professional woman with a great bedside manner. She will spend the necessary time with you as she has your best interest at heart. I sure miss her since she moved from my area and hope she and her family are doing well!
