Allowing your newborn to get their tongue & lip tie lasered is scary but Dr. V & his team put us at ease. He cared about her comfort & pain. He is an expert! He even called to check on us over the weekend.
Doing a lip and tongue tie release on both of my daughters was one of the best decisions ever. It helped me breastfeed my oldest daughter. She couldn’t eat from the breast properly up until right after the appointment. After getting the procedure done, I stopped bottle feeding fully and it was such a relief for me. Had a great experience with Dr. Villafane and his assistant Maggie. The office is clean, staff is kind, and procedure was so quick and easy. I was having 4/10 pain with latching while breastfeeding and after the revision it was immediately 0/10. The consultation included photos so I could see the severity of the tongue and lip tie. They also asked if I wanted to go home and talk with any family or medical providers before scheduling the simple procedure. Dr. Villafane did a great job making us feel comfortable and explained the whole tie-release procedure thoroughly. It’s clear that he cares about what he does, and the benefits for our baby, whose oral ties we had released here, is now able to feed properly, and is doing much better than she was before.
