When I talked on the phone with the secretary, I was very impressed because he really took in interest in my situation and was on top of everything! When I went in for my exam appointment, everybody was very friendly, and the doctor really made an effort to create a connection with me. My first appt at Blodgett Dental Care was outstanding. I've been searching for a holistic dentist who would respect my beliefs and decisions for a very long time, and I finally found what I've been looking for. I have severe anxiety around dentists because of childhood neglect, and the staff were so patient and gentle with me and took everything at my pace. Dr Kelly Blodgett Was very informative and thorough in the exam that he performed. Very comfortable environment.
I was fully prepared to hate this place as I really don't like dental work. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and personal care buy all the staff. I wasn't sure this could actually be a dental office. After about 30 minutes I discovered why. Dr. Blodgett came in and the dental hygienists who had been working during the past 30 minutes sat down in front of me and did a "hand off" report. I saw Maggie, the hygienist, today. She is kind, gental and thorough. I had an excellent cleaning and overall appointment.
The Blodgett family was able to get me even though I was from out of town and not an existing patient. I had an issue with a inflamed gum and was concerned about it becoming infected. From the receptionist to the assistant and especially Dr. Blodgett I have never felt more comfortable at the dentist office. They were beyond accomadating. I only wish I lived here to become a regular patient. I would recommend this office in a heart beat to any seeking a new dentist in the Portland area.
Broke my front tooth......Dr Blodgett was able to squeeze me in. You can not tell the difference, He does an amazing job. Thank you, as always.
