I was with her for over 10 years and she never suggested or talked about being tested for STD. After several Pap tests she never fully explained what abnormal cells were nor did she tell me the numbers associated with HPV. She refused to give me my paperwork until I got really rude with her staff. She sent some of my files to a doctor I went to for a second opinion but lied and said she could not send pictures of ultra sounds because there weren't any. They were in her laptop and in my file!
I am a pediatric subspecialist. I had a horrible experience with Dr Vikner. She not only undermined me in front of a patient, but questioned my judgement (about a baby, not the mother!), yelled at me in the hospital and was overall rude and threatening. Extremely unprofessional!! Stay away!!
I am normal height and weight for a young athlete. When Dr. Vikner entered the room I was waiting for her in she said to me, Oh...looks like you gained some weight. I do not believe that a Doctor has a right to call a young girl out on her weight especially when they aren't overweight in the slightest. As a PROFESSIONAL doctor she should know that saying that to a young girl can have a huge impact on them. I DO NOT recommend her, she is rude.
She walks around on typing on her laptop computer. Will not fully explain everything to you. Refuses to give you your paperwork/ lab results unless you pay for it. Very uncooperative with other doctors.
INSENSITIVE, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNINFORMATIVE, BEWARE! Horrible experience, told us our mom had cancer when we went to the appointment with her but she didn't give us any further information. She was short, very cold and extremely rude. She didn't want to give us the mammogram report which was weird, we're going to see another doctor. Honestly the most evil human being we have ever encountered.
Dr Vikner has delivered both of my children. She has provided excellent care, is a technical expert, and listens and answers questions. Her bedside manner isn't as gentle as some would like but we get along very well and I both admire and respect her. Her staff is fantastic - they are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
