Fantastic experience - Great wine, great food, reasonable prices – My wife and I went on our anniversary, and were thoroughly impressed. Their wine list is a lot of great South American and Spanish wines (go on Monday for half-price on the wine). We had a great Malbec. The food was awesome. I highly recommend the Cebiche dishes. I don't like prawns, and loved the prawn cebiche. The lamb stew was excellent (almost a Middle Eastern flavor to it). The duck that my wife ordered was cooked perfectly, seasoned immaculately, and pr... read more
Always delicious and fabulous service! – Limon is my new favorite restaurant not just in Denver, but anywhere! The service is wonderful and the food is always incredible. I just recently tried a Pisco Sour...delish! I always order the Tiradito Cebiche...it's wonderfully seasoned with great, fresh fish. I highly recommend Limon!
Great knowledgeable server and great food! – I dined at Limon for the first time last Friday with my wife. We ablsolutely loved everything that our server informed us about. We had a group of ceviches which were all individually unique and the presentation was excelent as well. For our main courses we had the Ahi tuna and the pork chop. I had never had a brined piece of pork before this occation so at first I was hessitant. Our sever assured me that it would be fabulous and he did not disapoint. This is deffinately a date st... read more
Avoid at all Costs – My friends and I went to Limon for 5280 Restaurant Week. We made the reservation two days in advance for Friday at 7:45 on the very last day of Restaurant Week. Limon was the only restaurant in Downtown Denver that could seat 8 that night. That should have been a sign that it was not a quality restaurant. Upon arriving the restaurant was busy, but not packed. We were not greeted at the door and we were seat 40 minutes after our reservation with no apologies concerning the delay. Our server didn't offer u... read more
So unique! – A casual yet classy lounge with such a unique menu, Limon is definately a place i'd return to and recommend to others. While waiting to be seated, I was able to sip on one of the best mojitos i've ever had! Amazing atmosphere, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. My dining experience was not just a meal but also reminder that a restaurant is an artful creation influenced by a passion and culture. Definately a "tasting " restaurant because there are so many things on the menu worth trying, especially the... read more
Tasty food, average environment, good for groups, free conference dining in back – Try this place out for yourself, we had a similar group for a birthday/business meeting in the back......we had the whole room to ourself(no charge) , with projector, etc and we were somewhat high maintenance. All we got back was tremendous service from Lindsay and tasty food. The beef tenderloin with spicy greens and crispy sweet potato rounds were great.....don't skip coffees and dessert either. I love the dimly lit, social, divey type resta... read more
Standard Fee? You Decide... – As one can probably tell by the last few postings that we were all together... you know what they say - make a customer happy and you're lucky if they tell one person, anger one person and you're looking at them telling at least 25-30 people and so on. Unfortunately for Alex, there were 7 of us at dinner that evening, so word can get around pretty quick and this is one of the few places we have taken to in order to let people know that when it comes to great expectations - this would not be a pl... read more
The worst owner I have ever dealt with- and mediocre food, to boot! AVOID!!! – This past Saturday, I planned a dinner for my close friend, and chose Limon. I called last Tuesday for the reservation, and thought my name was in. A few days later, one of the others called to ask if we could bring in a cake, and they didn?t even have the reservation. We were re-established; she was told a cake would be no problem. We arrived at the restaurant, I told the manager that we had a few that couldn?t make it, and I hoped it wasn?t a pr... read more
Owner of Limon, Alex Gurevich, is a Complete Ahole!!! – We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Everything was great.....good food, drinks, atmosphere, etc. My friends had decided to call ahead to see if it was alright to bring in a special birthday cake. The reply was simply, yes, that would be fine. Upon receiving our bill, there was a $20 "service fee". When we asked our waiter what the charge was for he said it was the cost to "cut the cake" by the chef. He then said he would take the charge off our bill. Mind... read more
