Ive been going to Dr. Schaffer for about 10 years now and have never had anything but good things to say about her. She is very thorough, very knowledgeable and very friendly. I would highly recommend her.
Terrible doctor. I had 2 issues I was concerned with and when I arrived she said she could only address one of my issues. I would have to return for her to address the other issue. Money hungry I guess. She also diagnosed me with a disease that I dont have. After speaking with a qualified medical professional I was told that this disease cannot be diagnosed with a blood test. I was very disappointed because my ob, whom I love, referred me to her.
PATIENT BEWARE! I saw Dr. Schaffer last year and paid cash for my visit since she did not accept my insurance for a small skin lesion. She spent 1 minute assessing my skin lesion and I was done. Her front office personnel then scheduled an appointment for a extensive skin examine which I never made. I tried numerous times (by phone and letter)to let them know I never made this appointment. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME and Money!!!!! This is by far the worst Dr. experience I have ever had. She has a horrible bedside manner and I didnt even know the visit was over until the nurse told me to get dressed. Dr. Schaffer didnt even take the time to say goodbye. I decided to give it a second chance at a follow-up visit. Wrong decision! I waited for an hour and a half and still did not see the Dr. I finally left because I had another appt. Never go here!!!!!!!!: This doctors staff is the most rude people I have ever come across in a doctors office. I will never go to this doctor again, and will never, never refer anyone to see her. It would be well worth it to drive to Lewisville or Dallas than to have to step one foot into that facility. After I had a few bad experiences, when I tell people about it now, it seems everyone already has known this except for me. I have never heard anyone say anything good about this place. BEWARE!!!
I dont know what happened to the other review but my experience with Dr. Schaffer and her staff was absolutly fabulous. I went to another Dermatologist that treated me like a number, is prescribed and spent 5 seconds with me on my situation. Lilly sat down with me and talked with me about the issues and educated me. Her staff was also very nice. She and her staff are awesome!
I am very surprised at the negativity of the 3 out of 4 reviews that are on here. I have struggled with acne for 10 years, and though that may not seem like a life-threatening issue like skin cancer, it is still a skin disorder that can be very frustrating. Dr.Schaffer has made my skin look the best it has ever looked, and this is after having 2 rounds of Accutane with 2 previous dermatologists, & still having acne.
