My husband and I spend a lot of time at the Lilac from May-September because we camp close by. Although, we have been dining there downstairs with friends for years, we recently decided to eat upstairs and discovered Morgan, who quickly became our favorite bartender. We saw the new menu on Saturday and loved it, but I decided to stick with my favorite, the turkey sandwich. The food and atmosphere are always great whether upstairs or down.
The food is top notch. Really tasty appetizers. Beer is cold, atmosphere comfortable and waitstaff inept. They all need professional, front of the house training. But don't let that stop you from going because the food makes up for it.
