First time ever today with this type of headeset. Not convinced - too heavy and although with ANR, still too noisy especially when you turn your head.

I called lightspeed to repair my headset as the headband snapped when a very young passenger put it on. To be fair, I didn't see her put it on but she was an Angel Flight patient, so I'd be surprised if she had the strength to bust it. However, they wanted $100 to fix it BUT would not stand by the repair if it snapped again, and said they don't replace headbands unless they cannot glue it back together ! $100 for glueing a clean break ?? Not a chance to get a headset from me or anyone who every asks me.

I bought my first (and only) headset back in 2001 from LSA when I decided to upgrade my ticket to Commercial Pilot. I bought the (then brand new) Solo QFR ANR. I still have it, and it still works as good as the day I bought it. It's an outstanding headset - light and quiet. LSA upgraded the power module/battery pack back in 2005-ish time frame for no cost (!) that included a micro plug interface for cellphone/music. Great customer service as usual!. Love my mach 1. Still can't believe you don't offer a newer model. Maybe with ANR?

Amazing customer service and great headsets!! Their Zulu.2 is a fantastic headset that is so clear and comfortable. And their customer service really is the best in the industry. Hands down one of the best companies out there!
