Marked up parts over 200% from retail cost I was given via dealer. When work was completed they forgot to attach caps to fluid reservoir which caused another problem. When I asked about pricing of parts I was laughed at. Will never use Domenic again.
On the way to Canada, I blew a water pump late in the day in my 2000 BMW and managed to make it to Domenic and his crew. It was impossible to get a part at that time so Dom recommended a good hotel and drove me there and back. Car was repaired the next day and I was on my way. We are heading back to Domenic at Lifetime Autoworks today for an A/C issue, as the first time we were referred to him we had such a good experience. They took the car immediately into the garage, told us something just needed tightened (it was squealing upon starting), and didn't charge me! I highly recommend Dom and his crew at Lifetime Autoworks. They are extremely professional. There have been two separate occassions where I have brought my van for service and they were able to fix it with minimal effort and did so without charge. I have no hesitation in calling them to fix any of my vehicles. Always personal, always professional.
I am on a limited budget. The staff at Lifetime Autoworks treated me like a star. The one thing that they did do was carefully explain everything that my car needed so that I may understand as I am not a mechanic. They stayed within my budget and understood that I was in a situation where I couldn't afford to spend a lot of money. They took care of me better than anyone else could and well below what was quoted to me by two other local shops. I love these guys and recommend them highly to everyone.
A good man may be hard to find, but finding a good mechanic is next to impossible. I have found both at Lifetime Autoworks. I had first taken my car to the dealer, but once the car is out of warranty, they rake you over the coals. They even lied about the availability of a part that I needed. What a positive experience. I've never felt more taken care of with my vehicle before. The staff at Lifetime Autoworks on Ohio River Blvd is the best. They surely know their business and come highly recommended by me. Fair pricing and honesty is what I expect ant that's exactly why I recieved. I will always bring my car there for the best service ever!!!
the mechanic/owner of this business come across at the beginning as being very friendly. They tell you they will get the job done at the best possible price. I walked away feeling good.....until they called and told me the estimate! I asked them to wait and called 3 other automotive businesses explainined what the diagnosed problem was and all 3 times was quote a price between $110-$130.00 cheaper. I pickd up my car and went to one of those places. Be warned.
Are you kidding me? This guy marked up the price of a radiator $100.00! That is an outrageous mark-up! I will NEVER go here again.. I couldn't BELIEVE what the total cost was especially when I was told by 3 other places that it could have been and should have been down for almost $200 less then what I paid!
