We had a very disappointing experience with our 5-day-old newborn. The jaundice test was performed by a staff member called Fatima, who seemed inexperienced and hesitant. Our baby was in pain, and we were told the blood sample might not be sufficient. The next day, we were informed the sample had hemolyzed due to improper handling, and we have to repeat the test. We will never return to this lab!
This was my second visit to this place and I had horrible experience with this lady name Julie, she is very rude! Had bad experience with her twice.
I was told to come from 8 to 8:30 for a walk-in for my early morning test. There was already a lineup! So come very early if you are not prepared to stay an hour or more. Fatima is very adept at drawing blood. I've gone to lots of blood donation sites and know this can be rare.
3 months ago My daughter just had her blood drawn at Life Labs in Oakville, 170 Rebecca Street. I didn't have an appointment, so I was in and out quickly. Fatima was the technician who drew my daughter's blood. She was very friendly and, most importantly, very gentle during the blood draw. Thank you, Fatima.
