Unit #661 showed up after I had requested help. Upon arrival both women suggested going to Parkwest after I requested UT they made the excuse cause I40 is backed up it would take to long. Now we are stuck at a hospital I didn’t even want to go to. You knew she was very dehydrated and refused an Iv. And we all wonder why people don’t go get help cause of this incompetent negligence! What a joke…. Such a disgrace!!
We were asked by 911 call center and Lifeguard Ambulance LLC crew who our medical insurance provider was. We informed both it was Cigna. At no time were we notified nor asked to acknowledge Cigna being OUT OF NETWORK while AMR (their parent company) is IN NETWORK. Cigna negotiated a fair discount, paid a decent percentage of the discounted cost only for Lifeguard to now want the entire, original charge covered.
