I was sent there after foot surgery from MedicalCity, Frisco. They were supposed to make an appointment for me to go see my doctor. They didn't. I had diarrhea very very bad and they'd leave me in it for at least an hour and it was like sitting in battery acid (sorry TMI) So I got horrible sores. They cleaned me with wash cloths which was like being cleaned with sandpaper. So there was a lot of screaming involved. I started buying my own wipes. Send your loved ones here if you want them to die! They advertise as a rehabilitation facility, but in actuality they are a poorly run hospice facility. My dad walked into LifeCare without assistance on October 2021, and left in a body bag 18 days later. On 2 separate nights, my dad fell out of his bed and laid in a pool of his own urine for over an hour before a nurse found him. He was unable to reach the emergency button on the top of his bed, and he laid there on the cold floor struggling to breathe as his oxygen mask... read more

If you care for your loved one. I do not recommend this place. Several Times I have seen feces on my mothers bedside and once a nurse came and "cleaned" it w a washcloth that was given to my mother for her face. No soap no antibacterial, just water. Charles Fields and the nurse supervisor like to gang up on family members. They are rude and admitted to my mother being scared under their care. My mom broke almost every single bone in her body due to a head on car collision. If you do not plan to sit here constantly, go somewhere else. After 2 weeks I finally met the hospital supervisor. . .super rude. The nurses hang out at the nurses station and the aides, well all they say is something isn't their job. Oh, the security guard said, "I hate my job." Do NOT place your loved one here.

There are some truly wonderful, caring nurses and staff that work here - but also some incompetent ones that seem to only be there to provide minimal, cookie-cutter care (eg., meds and vitals), without much regard for the personal needs of the patient. During my significant other's 3-week stay here, the nurses also made numerous mistakes that I and my caregiver had to correct daily (eg., incorrect med dosages, not sterilizing my beloved's IV line, forgetting to take his BP, giving him salty junk food that caused him to ret... read more
