This place is great. The variety of workouts available, access to recovery tools, trainers, etc is truly amazing! I wish I lived closer because I would have kept my membership but living more than 40 minutes away now it just wasn’t sustainable for me. I wish we could get more lifetime locations in the Nashville area. Truly a place built around not just fitness but also building community. Maybe one day I’ll move back to Franklin and rejoin as a member.

**UPDATE:** We ultimately decided to leave Life Time Fitness. When we first moved to Franklin, the location was incredibly convenient, and my husband wanted a hot tub. My husband really enjoyed the hot tub, but after it was converted into a cold plunge, he lost interest in going. He eventually found a trainer and another gym in Franklin that was a better fit for him. For me, the biggest frustration was how consistently busy the gym was. I recently joined after relocating. We have been to the Minnesota Lifetimes and I have to admit, I'm pretty disappointed. I pay $400 a month for the kids and I and I find that many classes are wait listed. I've had reservations and had to put my mat in the doorway due to over crowding. In MN the schedules lined up so you could hit a strength class and then head to a yoga/mat/barre class before your child care ran out. Here, the schedules over lap and there is no chance to take a second class so not only do I pay $100/mo more... read more
