Food, service and atmosphere is always great��
Best Chili Size in town!!! Been a patron since I was 6 years old. This place feels like home and always will.
I love to eat here even coming for 25 yrs all owners and waitress have been wonderful as well as the food in fact i'm having steak and beans right now
Lots of memories here. I wish they still had the cook/owner with the curled mustache (passed away) and the jukebox. Went for lunch with my mom. She goes there often and loves it. Everything tasted great and the atmosphere feels like home. Only complaint is half my NY strip was fat and they said sorry that my mom and I got the last 2. They gave us some wooden chips for free drinks next time we come in. We still plan to go back and I would love to make it a regular thing with my mom. �

It is a hidden treasure in the vast sea of restaurants in Bakersfield. It's not a location, but a destination on the edge of the east side.
The Best Chili Size this side of Texas. Straight chili or served with beans, it is a must try for lovers of comfort dishes. Cheese, onions and great little peppers to give it a little bite. Once you have one, it will become a mainstay in your lunch spot rotation. The service is great but don't tell them, it might go to their head!
Great food, great service, great people...oh yeah, the coldest beer in town.....
