The online booking feature doesn't work
Gerri at Liberty Tax on Quinpool Road in Halifax is fantastic. She really cares about her clients and goes out of her way for them. Professional, knowledgeable, so patient with all my questions and all with a smile and great sense of humour. Highly recommend this great local business. NEW _ Just back from getting my taxes competed by Geri. Did 3 years in one sitting. She does not judge and tries so hard to make sure all the info is correct. So much patience. Thank you Gerri!!!
I’ve been working with Gerri for at least 10 years, and thanks to her advice, I’ve learned to efficiently manage my expenses as a self-employed person and I’m in a better position with my taxes than I ever would have hoped. I very much value her work.
unless your tax situation is simple (in which case just use H&R Block or similar free software) then I would suggest staying well clear of Gerri. It is unclear to me whether she can deal with more complicated tax scenarios....but regardless, she will leave you high and dry when it's all messed up. AVOID!
