We havent had heat or hot water for three days now during a global pandemic. There are better properties nearby
RecommendedI’ve only lived here a few weeks now but so far so good. My grandmother lived here a few years ago and I’ve seen a total 360 from then to now. It’s very quiet which I love because I work nights n sleep during the day. I feel like I’ve really gotten my money’s worth moving here. The staff was very helpful throughout my whole moving process.
Drugs are taking over...shootings...needs more maintenance inside the apartments
My mother lives in these apartments, last night she had her car broken into and some one stole her registration and insurance card I called the property owner to report it and all she was could say was "oh that's so weird well I hope you have a better day" unbelievable. 3 people got shot here resulting in 1 death, my mother fell in her kitchen twice because they have not come and fixed her tiles, I slipped down the stairs due to a broken carpet should I go on? Let me start off by saying that rent is way too high--not just here, but throughout the entire Newark area. I am a huge believer in rent control (#feelthebern) and I can't wait to graduate and buy my own place. That being said, I have been very pleased with my time at Prides Court. My fiancee and I lived here, he worked here and was wrongly fired, simply because it went under new management, which is a great thing. I never seen a roach till I lived here, there were so many, this is disgusting, I got used to killing them with my hand eww, craziest thing is they weren't from us, it was the people above us, and I guess they liked em cause they did nothing about them. We lived there in 2010 and like I had said it went under new management which was needed, it would take a lot for me to live here again
Prides Court is the worst place Ive ever lived. There is only 2giys to fix stuff. Black mold all over bathroom dishwasher is all screwed up and rugs are about ten years old dirty diapers in the parking lot 2weeks. Dont move here.
