So far we have lived here since March and we love it. We are a little disappointed with the landscaping. One side of our house is overgrown and the other side is completely butchered. We also had the older fence style when we moved in and we're told they couldn't do anything to prevent my daughter from sticking her hands through it to let the neighbors dogs. HUGE safety hazard. We invested over $100 in chicken wire to fence in the entire yard only to be told they're replacing the fence the beginning of July. It seems the off... read more
Just here patiently waiting for pest control to be able to come out on Tuesday watching these giant larger than bee size flies flying out of my almost 2 year olds bedroom lighting fixture. I've killed over a dozen in less than a 24 hour period. There really should be something that can be done when it comes to a health concern especially when it's coming from a child's room I can also see 3 in my kitchen light fixture
Just wanted to give a SHOUT-OUT to the Chesterton District Office for the recent changes/upgrades to the park near Daniel Ave and Gabrielson. My 2 daughters THOROUGHLY ENJOYED their visit to the closest park to our house today and will DEFINITELY be returning in the near future!! Thank you!! I do wonder if there are ANY thoughts/plans of putting a bench or 2 closer to the new equipment. The current one isn't anywhere close to the new stuff and is CONCRETE (for whatever reason). Although we are happy with our renovated home, other communities have been offered $750 to move from their non renovated home to the renovated homes and we were not offered the same. Also, the park closest to us was my childrens(5 & 4) favorite park but now has been "updated" into a little tyke park. That makes two little tyke parks on the same street directly across the street from each other. We are pretty perturbed about that decision. They are taking away fun areas for older children to play.
