Almost an hour wait time for our plate ... but the food was hot, tasty, and full of flavor!
On a crazy 2 university in town graduation weekend we didn’t make reservations anywhere. I called Liberty at 4:15pm on Friday and asked if there was any chance we’d get it. The nicest girl Stephie said we open at 5, if you’re here when we open the gates you’ll be good don’t worry. Did exactly that and chose seats at the bar rather than table. Visited early in the week of FSU and FAMU graduation. The restaurant was happy-hour busy and we were first in the table dining area. Being open for dinner on Monday was a definite plus! The menu had great variation and the food we ordered was delish! The chef has skills and background, for sure! The scotch eggs were yum, and the order consisted of two large halves. I’m really disappointed writing this because this used to be one of my favorite places. I usually come here with my boyfriend and always had a great experience—until Thursday night. The two bartenders working that night were incredibly rude, disrespectful, and honestly difficult to deal with. Their attitude felt dismissive and unnecessarily condescending, which completely ruined the vibe for us.
