I LOVE GEORGETTE KLINGER & NOW I LOVE LIA SCHORR TOO! – I have been going to Georgette Klinger for over 13 years. Unfortunately, they are no longer in business. LOVE LIA SCHORR! – My boyfriend and I received a gift certificate last year for Valentines Day to the Lia Schorr Day Spa. The gift certificate entitled us to an oxygen facial as well as a seaweed body wrap & scrub. The facial was marvelous and the seaweed wrap/scrub left me feeling so refreshed. I was hesitant when I first received the gift certificate, but it turned out to be the best gift ever! Even my boyfriend was raving!

Best Holiday Gift – This year I have received the best holiday gift ever. I received the head to toe spa package a year ago last Christmas, it included a facial, a full body massage, manicure and pedicure. The staff at Lia Schorr?s are so professional it is amazing. The place has been newly remodeled and is extremely classy. There are snacks and drinks, the staff is extremely outstanding. The hot stone massage is divine. good medical massage – i went to lia schorr for a massage during spa week 2007. while the decor is a bit outdated - very early '90s - and the receptionist (who i believe is lia herself, as she bore a striking resemblance to a huge image of the salon's namesake posted in the hallway) was a bit gruff, the massage and masseuse were wonderful. do not go expecting decadence or luxe surroundings. the massage room was the size of a cubicle and the towels offered little coverage. however, the hot-stone massage was amazing and negate... read more

Worst facial ever – Aesthetician was treating probably 6 people at once and kept disappearing for 20 minutes at a time. She also put a special mask on me that cost extra $$$ without checking first that I was ok with the extra $$$. She did only a minimal amount of extractions. The place was also dirty. I would not go back here.

Best skin treatment for Asian Skin – I am from Asia, but I moved to NY many years ago. I have had many bad experiences with other spas in the NY area, due to the fact that Asian skin is very sensitive and heals more slowly after a facial.
