After test driving, tried to up-charge the listed price during the paperwork, saying that it was a typo online. Big waste of time.
Lexus of Thousand Oaks wasted 8 hours of my time today. I saw a 2016 Chevy Corvette listed for $54K on their website. I called the dealer to ensure its availability and the salesman answered the phone and confirmed. I got there, test drove the car and started the paperwork. Then the salesman shown me a different price, $62k. On Sunday March 22nd I went to Thousand Oaks, Lexus to look at a 2016 Chevrolet SS with 12,500 miles for the price of $48,800. The manager greeted me, we talked. I checked out the car and really liked it. I told him the tires were 11 years old, he assured me it wouldn't leave with those tires. He said we will replace them. I was getting my NX serviced and was given as a loaner an RX350 Hybrid. I liked it so much that I met with Nick Falsafi a senior sales consultant and we worked out a deal for a 2025 Lexus certified version. Best car experience I have ever had and I being 70 I have had two many cars to count. I highly recommend Lexus of Thousand Oaks and especially Nick who is a real pro with no pressure and also takes the time to show you everything about the car which has amazing technology.
